Major Disaster Response
Hurricane Harvey (August 2017)
The Challenge
Hurricane Harvey struck Houston with nearly 53 inches of rain—a continental U.S. record. The storm caused an estimated $180 billion in damage, destroying business infrastructure across the region. 32 different firms lost critical technology and office space.
Our Response
Despite some of our own Houston locations flooding, Pronto Recovery partnered with Regus to provide access to 100+ alternate workplace locations in the area. We supplied rental laptops and office equipment to replace damaged technology, enabling rapid workspace recovery.
The Result
1,136 employees from 32 affected companies were able to continue working from unaffected alternate locations. Businesses resumed critical operations and maintained continuity.

Our Response
Pronto worked with more than 1,400 companies seeking alternative workplaces. We rapidly deployed resources to provide nearby recovery locations with essential equipment—laptops, computing hardware, and office equipment—enabling businesses to resume operations.
